Lightning Sparks Brush Fire

Lightning is believed to have started a brush fire near McDavid Monday afternoon. Firefighters from the McDavid Station of Escambia Fire Rescue were able to quickly extinguish the fire as it burned in a ditch alongside Highway 168 west of Pine Barren Road.
