Four Juveniles Charged With Multiple Cantonment Vehicle Burglaries After Collision

August 7, 2017

Four juveniles were arrested at a Cantonment gas station Saturday after running up on a concrete curb and nearly hitting a gas pump.

The four, ages 13-15, were in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck confirmed by Pensacola Police to have been stolen in their jurisdiction.  Prior to the crash, they were  allegedly involved in the burglary of 14 other vehicles on Plata Canada Drive and Bosque Court off Tate Road,  less than a mile from Tate High School.

All four were charged with multiple counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and petit theft.

More arrests or charges are expected in the case, according to Amber Southard, spokesperson for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge ”
“A child left to himself bringer his mother shame”

The old Proverbs are still true. Fear is the beginning. But, it’s just the beginning. They have no fear. No fear of the consequences for their actions, and if fear is the beginning then they don’t have one. Which means their end will as useless and void as their beginning.

These kids need to be removed from this community and have the crap scared out of them! If not, they need to be forbidden to ever be seen together again.Obviously one of them is getting a thrill out of leading the others astray.

Hopefully these little thugs are the same ones that have been vandalizing the Cantonment Ballpark. That’s what happens when you go from LOW PRIORITY to HIGH PRIORITY. Lock ‘em up and try them as adults.

A good caneing could go a long ways in prevention.
Alas, take them home to their parents if you can find them and let them return to their ways with no repercussions.

Try stealing from me.. I work very hard for what I have.. I don’t care how old they me be.. If they are brave enough to come to my home well I’m brave enough to stop you one way or the other.. Enter at your own risk.. I will shoot you point blank.. Little thugs think they can do anything they please.. When my daughter was that age I knew where she was.. If she had even thought of something of this nature I would have beat her till she couldn’t walk!! Raising begins at home..

I pulled in for gas when they were just taking the out of order tags off of the pumps and I saw a very young black girl being taken to the bumper of a sheriff car and I was going to a memorial and mentioned to my friends if that had of been me at any age especially young I would have been shaking in my boots and she was laughing!!
now I know why!!! I couldn’t figure out why there were so many sheriff cars again I know why

They are old enough to know better. Charge them as adults. And have to ask where were their parents

Oh I sure hope this is the HIRST TRUCK! I hope others that have gone missing are recovered as well. Thank goodness these 4 have been caught. I believe there are MORE young people involved in this activity across Northwest Florida. Every few days someone is posting a video from their property of groups of young people going through cars in driveways or posting that a vehicle or something has been stolen. Hopefully, things will settle down some with the kids going back to school soon. Am I the only one who is thinking… WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?
