Cantonment Man Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Underage Relative

August 15, 2017

A Cantonment man has been arrested for the sexual abuse of a young female relative.

Albert Lee Allen, 64, was charged with sexual assault on a victim 12-18 years old and incest., both felony charges. He was released from the Escambia County Jail at a $55,000 bond.

The female juvenile told investigators that she had been sexually abused by Allen on multiple occasions.  After the incidents, she said Allen told her not to tell anyone or he would go to jail. She told deputies that multiple relatives knew of the abuse and she remembered Allen apologizing to her father.

When deputies attempted to interview Allen at the Sheriff’s Office, he invoked his right to a lawyer and refused to answer any questions, according to an arrest report.

If any of those girl’s relatives are reading this let me tell you, you might as well have molested that poor girl yourself. Shame on you for protecting this man! How many other children had he hurt before this girl & how many more would he have gone on to hurt? These relatives who knew deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Disgusting people. All of you. I hope that poor child is able to move past this trauma you all inflicted on her.

Mama and Daddy always told me that if anybody ever “touched” me or tried anything funny with me to get away from them and go let Mom and Dad know immediately.
My parents and brothers would have done no telling what to anyone who messed with me and we have passed that down to the kids and grands.
For others to know of abuse and just allow it to pass is inexcusable and to me those who knew, or suspected, yet kept silent are almost as guilty as those who are the abusers.
If guilty, hope this individual gets the maximum penalty.
God please help this young girl heal in body, mind and spirit and protect her.
