Back To School Events, Free School Supply Giveaways This Weekend

Back To School Bash – Century
The Abundant Life Assembly of God will hold a Back To School Bash on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. with fun events, food, inflatables and 200 filled backpacks. The church is located at 8040 North Century Boulevard.
Day of Hope — Molino/Cantonment
Victory Assembly of God will host their annual Day of Hope back to school drive on Saturday, August 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Free backpacks, school supplies, grocery items and free professional haircuts will be available. For more information visit victorycan.org or call (850) 587-2295. The church is located on Highway 29 just south of Barrineau Park Rd. Children must be present to receive supplies.
Summerfest 2017 — Atmore
Unity Baptist Church will present Summerfest 2017 on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at Tom Byrne Park in Atmore. Everyone is welcome with live music, free food and guest speakers. Bring a chair or blanket.
Back To School Bash — Quintette
The Quintette Community Center will have a Back to School Bash on Sunday from 2:30 until 5 p.m. Everyone in the community is inivted for fun, games, food and kickball. For more information, call Jackie at (850) 327-0617.
Back To School Splash – Molino
Next weekend, on Saturday, August 12, Aldersgate United Methodist Church will host their annual Back to School Splash event from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. This free community event will have water slides, water and other outdoors games plus foot and drink. Fun for all ages. For more information, call the church at (850) 587-5294. The church is located on Highway 29 just south of Highway 97 in Molino.

Are there any other back to school supply giveaways next weekend? After buying school clothes, I won’t be able to afford all the supplies needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated
