Myrtle Grimes

Myrtle Grimes, 83, of Barrineau Park, FL went home to be with our Lord July 26, 2017.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Venis Grimes.

She leaves behind five children, Elsie Grimes, Robert Grimes, Kathy Mason, Shirley Beavers and Roger Grimes of Barrineau Park, FL; one stepdaughter, Patricia Kelley of Woodbine, GA, who she loved as her own; a very close friend of many years, Larajane Yazhue; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Thank you to family and friends that helped us take care of Mama and a special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice, Gentiva Penney and Mrs. Evelyn.

Visitation will take place Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Molino 1st Assembly from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Brother Jason Adams will serve as officiant.

Interment to follow at Oliver Pugh Cemetery.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is entrusted with arrangements.

    Elsie I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom its so hard losing a parent (especially Mom) no matter what our age. My Mama has been in heaven for 35 years now and I still miss her everyday, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
