Man Charged After Chasing Daughter With A Knife

A Cantonment man was jailed July 4 after an argument with his wife ended with him allegedly chasing his daughter with a knife.
The daughter began to gather her belongings to leave the residence on Pettway Circle in the Quintette area when she said an argument between her parents escalated. She said Larry Lamar Brown, 57, grabbed a kitchen knife and chased her around the property, according to arrest report. The daughter’s age was not provided.
Deputies believed alcohol may have contributed to the incident. There were no injuries.
Brown was charged with aggravated assault withe a deadly weapon. He was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

Anne, I agree with you, however the scripture states that it is the LOVE of money, not the money itself that is the root of all evil. There are plenty of people who have money that are good, decent human beings.
The man should never be able to own or have in his possession a gun, knife, or an alcoholic beverage. apparently he doesn’t know how or is unable to handle his weapons and spirits. I know the article didn’t say anything about a gun but let’s just be proactive here. You act like a fool you get treated like one…
