Deputies Seek Circle K Theft Suspect
July 25, 2017
At about 3:45 last Saturday morning, the suspect took items from the Circle K at 2200 Highway 29 in Cantonment. A citizen in the store observed the theft and followed the suspect, who was in a small black sedan headed eastbound on Roberts Road.
A short time later, and after making several short stops in an effort to “taunt” the citizen, the suspect jumped out of the vehicle in the area of East Roberts Road and La Lar Lane. The suspect then struck the citizen with a pry bar, got back into the vehicle and drove off.
If you recognize the man in these photos, call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

Circle K is connected to Wendys, across from CVS, about a couple of blocks from west Roberts.
>>>I do not remember a Circle K in Cantonment.
2200 HWY 29 STE B CANTONMENT
(next door to Wendy’s)
I do not remember a Circle K in Cantonment. There is a Tom Thumb near Roberts Road.
Just what I was thinking Gman.
Now I’m surprised someone has not already identified him.
I’m sorry but every since I heard the fine Mr.Morgan say he needs to take deputys out of schools I’m not playing police. And I’m sure not risking my life for somthing I don’t know about. I didn’t see this man do anything I just hear someone say they chased a stranger down the road. Well you don’t chase a strange dog? Right. Same thing you might get bit.
Got to be drugs/
Everyone knows those places have vid cameras./
Not excusing his behavior
Oh! Boy. Are you in trouble now.
To the good Samaritan, be very careful.
Why not jus get tag number rather than risk your life over a shoplifter?
I’m all for doing your civic duty but I have to question the wisdom of following someone down a dark road like that at 3 in the morning over some items that don’t even belong to you. Just saying.
Finally a camera that captures a decedent picture.
