Youth Begin Fair Livestock Projects

Over 30 youth weighed-in their steers Saturday to being their Pensacola Interstate Fair Project. Each will work over the next 140 days to prepare themselves and the animals for the show. The final weigh-in and show will take place of October 23 with the sale on October 26. Photos for NorthEscambia.com, click to enlarge.

Barrineau Park 4-H has 8 Youth showing Steer and Heifers at the Pensacola Interstate Fair this October – Leah, Zach, Wyatt, AT, Allie, Tucker, Izzy and Jessica. Were so proud of all of them for taking on these large animal Livestock Projects. This is a huge commitment and teaches them some lifelong skills – responsibility, time management, commitment to name a few.
