    REGARDING:
    “All inmates are not bad people.! My son is there because of a bad choice he made. ”

    He is not there for a good thing, not there for a lawful thing, not there for a little thing.

    He is there for a bad thing which he chose to do.
    You are what you do.

    Most likely he doesn’t tend to kill other people, but his bad actions have put him in a place where he is more apt to perturb those who do. If he ever gets out alive, see if you can convince him to do good things in the future.

    Those still raising children: learn what can go wrong and protect your children by letting them know what might happen if they break the law. Don’t excuse their actions and tell them they just made a bad choice. Teach them to be good by only doing good things.

    David for safe children, no matter how old

    All inmates are not bad people.! My son is there because of a bad choice he made. Having to learn a hard lesson. It saddens me that there are not any classes or trades offered at the facility. Ideal hands are a devils work shop. They are still human beings. I believe their are a lot of people that work there that take there authority to a nasty attitude level. And treat the visitors like inmates also. It would not hurt to be kind.

    It will continue to get worse as long as there are people in charge who feel that inmates that have been tried and convicted have more rights than the staff that put themselves in danger everyday trying to enforce rules that are there to keep order and control. After almost 20 years in this profession it has never been this hostile for staff and inmates.

    @nod
    Never had these problems before so who would you blame. I blame the governor and his staff millionaires and billionaires will never understand what goes on in prison they try to hide it but I’m here to let you know if there is not some intervention in fl. Prison you will here about more deaths and assaults

    @chris in molino
    You seem happy that the inmates are winning right now I guess we know what side your on once you’ve done time though I guess we couldn’t expect any different birds of a feather stick together right

  7. Chris in Molino on June 22nd, 2017 6:40 pm

    @really–The only ones I EVER hear (winning) are CO’s. Don’t worry, the officers had their time of being mean and nasty, lying, abusing people, with full support of central office. It used to be the only ones who got promoted were the ones who did dirty stuff and covered it up or helped. But everything is cyclical, your time will come back around.
    By the way, I hope you don’t write your own reports.

    People you need to wake up. Tallahassee (Rick S. and Julie J.)
    have gave the control to the inmates. No order and control CO.’s can only do so much. Short handed lack of experience. It is unsafe for everyone. Until Tallahassee quits giving into the winning inmates and take the prison back. their will never be law and order and safety.

    Does abyone agree?

    The way i look at it, its population control. The government knows that they don’t want to sustain all the criminals, so they are letting them take each other out more and more. They can’t justify killing them theirselves as a moral establishment as they like call themselves.

    I am sure that it is the fault of the governor. The inmate is innocent.

    This is what happens when you put a politician’s stepson, and some old guy who is just there to double dip in charge…. Maybe the state should take more money away from public schools and but tablets and WiFi for the inmates….Great job guys…Maybe the state could invest in a spine for their upper management….

    More dangerous than Angola or Parchman. Straighten up and don’t go there.

  15. Retired C.O. on June 22nd, 2017 8:29 am

    Wake up people….. it’s a prison…. a bad place with bad people and not enough officers. If you never worked there or you were never in prison you don’t know what your talking about .

  16. Gary on June 22nd, 2017 5:26 am

    Century is out of control. What is being done about it? It is everweek something bad happens there. Whoever the politicians and officials are who are responsible for operating CCI should have been removed a long time ago.

    Uh Oh
    Somebody’s getting paper and a transfer to a different institution.

    Well it will probably be worse. …
    It wasn’t against staff.

    This is what happens when your governor hires his friends to run a prison system that don’t have a clue this I what happens when your governor takes all the power from the co and gives it to the inmates

  19. Traumaqueen on June 22nd, 2017 3:46 am

    What the heck is happening out at CCI?
