Heavy Rains Flood Oak Grove Bridge Construction Work Zone

Recent heavy rains flooded the approaches under construction for a new bridge on North Highway 99 in Oak Grove. Wednesday afternoon, much the construction zone remained underwater. The existing bridge (in the left of the photo) is being replaced with a new, modern structure consisting of 11-foot travel lanes, nine-foot shoulders and a solid concrete barrier railing.
