I’m so happy that it’s made it’s way back to the right place. I have know idea who this is, but I’m glad it’s back where it belongs. I know I would be devastated if some of my families headstones found their way onto the side of a dirt road. My question is how did it get there? Just curious. Thank You William for sharing this story. !
If someone could contact the Preacher at Magnolia Baptist Church he should have a book for the Cemetery saying who is buried where..
I’m pretty sure this is one our relatives. I’m checking with family. Our family is from the Brewton/Pallard area and my Grandmothers side were Beasley’s. I remember my Grandmother talking about a Mamie when I was growing up.
Ancestory will give the answers as well as her descendants and their last known addresses.
I’ve let my Ancestory account lapse because I’m taking a break from working on my family tree. However anyone who doesn’t have a previous account is allowed to use the program for free for 7 days.
I hope that helps.
Looks like a headstone from poston cemetery off of 113.
