Hands Across The Border: Florida, Alabama Officers Cracking Down On Unsafe Drivers
June 7, 2017
Law enforcement agencies from Florida and Alabama are once again joining forces for “Hands Across the Border,” an annual traffic safety campaign. Law enforcement officers will crack down on unsafe driving through saturation patrols and checkpoints throughout the summer months.
Officers from both states gathered at the Alabama and Florida welcome center on I-10 to pledge to work together this summer to ensure drivers are maintaining safe speeds, not drinking and driving and always using their safety belts.
In 2016, there were nearly 1,000 alcohol related fatalities across Florida.

No dear readers, realize this is about looking good while getting a dollar out of your pocket, nothing more.
I hope they crack down on all these murderers and kidnappers and rapists that we never hear about getting arrested. Maybe thy will cross a double yellow or change lanes w/o signaling or not yield to oncoming traffic and then we can finally bust’m!
And do not forget the speeders and tailgaters and erratic drivers
Sic ‘em, law dogs!
Realize dear readers this is to protect you and others from the idiots that have been licensed to drive. I truly hope they will “play in the traffic” and hand out citations for those texting, talking on the phone, drunk, loud music and mufflers! Make their day the old fashioned way…, behave or be gone to court!
