Story Time Held Each Week At Your Local Library (And Earn Ice Cream In Molino)

May 3, 2017

The West Florida Public Library offers Story Time for children five and younger each week. Story Time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, music and other fun activities. The events incorporate the early literacy skills that children must master before they can learn to read.

This is my granddaughter and we try to go every week. She loves the storytime but also loves being around all the other children. This is a great way to help your child/grandchild to learn to participate in a group setting. We also check-out books and dvd’s from the library and she already knows how the system works to check-out and return them. A big thank-you to Ms. Lisa and to “Mo” (the puppet)!

This is such a sweet idea. The children will have these fond memories forever.

I think this is great. My mom used to have us read to her because she couldn’t see and she said it was like t.v. for her. Books are so relaxing and for some people they are better than reading electronics.
