Siu Graduates From Basic Training

May 14, 2017

U.S. Air Force Airman Dylan J. Siu recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Siu is the son of Andrew Siu of Saint Petersburg.  He is a 2016 graduate of Northview High School in Bratt.

You have taken a big step Dylan. You have the world ahead of you now and I sincerely wish you the best of luck. You will be able to go places you couldn’t as a civilian, save for schooling after the service if you desire. Enjoy this time.
