Myrtle Lee Micari, born March 7, 1927, of Cantonment, Florida, went to her eternal home on May 3, 2017, at the age of 90.

Myrtle is preceded by her parents Jesse and Ida Thompson, sisters, Mary Scott and Betty Jean; daughter, Arlene Micari; son, Eugene Micari; and daughter, Cynthia Williams.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, James Thompson and his wife Catherine; her son, Joseph Micari, his daughters, Kelly, Nicole, Heather and Corine; her daughter, Dolores Micari; her son, Conrad Micari, his children Jesse and ReAnna; her son Craig’s children, Sean and Scott and her daughter Xynthia’s child, Christopher — along with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Myrtle was a loving and caring mother to her children and grandchildren. She reveled in the moments when everyone came together around the table. She was adventurous and loved camping and road trips, but most comfortable in the kitchen cooking for family and friends or gardening in the sun around her home.

I will miss Aunt Myrtle and remember her with great affection. She was such a strong woman that endured many heart aches but never gave up. My love and prayers to her family. She is resting in Jesus love and care.
