Man Run Over By SUV In Private Property Accident

A man was seriously injured when he was run over by a SUV in a private property accident Sunday afternoon in McDavid.
The man, in his twenties, was reportedly struck by a SUV at home in the 100 block of West Bogia Road. The SUV came to rest on top of the man, before the driver removed it in order to free him. The exact circumstances of the incident are under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident scene was hundreds of yards down a long, narrow driveway at a home located well off the roadway, a driveway narrow enough that fire engines and an ambulance were unable to reach the home. The victim was transported to an ambulance waiting at the roadway by a fire department pickup truck.
The condition of the victim was not available.
