Two people were killed in traffic crash Friday night near Atmore.
Alabama State Troopers said 37-year old Christopher Henry Lowe of Atmore was killed when his 1991 Chevrolet struck a 2005 Nissan driven by 22-year old Shalonda Trenee Rudolph of Atmore. Matchbox the family doesn’t need judgment they are in need of prayers. Please show some respect. What should have been or could have been is not the reality of now. What happened did happened and nothing you can say or do can change it. THEY NEED YOUR PRAYERS. Show kindness and mercy

Doesn’t matter if you are traveling one block BUCKLE YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN UP
@ Hurting Deeply:
I too have been guilty of being careless on a short trip down the road. We should let this be a lesson to all of us and do what we can to keep our kids safe on the road. I hope the child is ok.
I didn’t know any of these people, however for someone to write she didn’t love her child because it says they were not restraint is aweful. My daughter is 9 now, but when she was that age I would have her in her car seat and the next thing I know she is trying to climb up front! I would have to pull over so many times before I could get to where I was going. All I’m saying don’t judge!
@matchbox …when you are traveling less than a mile from your home you never think that there’s a possibility you won’t make it safely. If you knew her you would know that the love she had for that child was so vast she was working two jobs to support her family. So don’t judge her for that, I have been guilty myself, it could happen to best of us.
@Gary
That’s outside of the city limits, it’s up to the county or state troopers to patrol that area. Unlike Baldwin County, it seems that Escambia County isn’t interested in writing tickets.
This accident happened near my home. No brake or skid marks. Slight curve. An area of Atmore where most vehicles exceed posted speed limit.
Really you don’t love your child enough to restrain them….sad situation all the way around
This is so sad!!! My thoughts and prayers go out to the families!!!
