    REGARDING:
    “23 hour a day confinement with no roommate for at the very least 2 years, probably more.”
    AND
    “at any time 70 to 80 percent of the century inmates are lifers”

    It would be asking for a lawsuit, but the temptation exists to place several killers in the same cell and let nature take its course. Even if they didn’t kill each other, all would likely lose sleep, distrusting the roomies.

    David for recognizing assetts

    @anne
    That has got to be the dumbest comment I have ever read on here that is like saying because a drunken driver crashes into you that you will now be a better driver no you were always a good driver this idiot just drove drunk do you get it now this idiot just decided to attack an officer doesn’t mean he wasn’t a good officer or even that he was unaware just means he got attacked by a dumb person now you should understand that

    Staff shortage is partly to blame for this. No one to watch the officers back. It will get worse before it gets better out there.

    Did you know at any time70 to80 percent of the century inmates are lifers, so do you think confinement and no room mate is a big concern of theirs

    There’s got to be a better way…
    Turn them loose at the Mexican border or something.

    How about the Death penalty and follow through.

    Anne 1 of 2, you don’t even know the half of it. I don’t know about all of these men & women that work in there but I know half or more, are on the lookout as soon as they enter those gates, & some on the streets, inmates do get out ya know & if these officers have been threatened & yes, they have been, they take it serious. It sounds to me that you might be assuming that the officer wasn’t doing his job(not paying attention to his surroundings). If you can do any better, seems to me that they might need you. It makes me irritable when others say things about these officers when the others wouldn’t or couldn’t work behind those gates.

    This human is big, bad and worthless. This officer will be more aware now, making him a better officer.

    It will actually make him eligible for close management. Meaning 23 hour a day confinement with no roommate for at the very least 2 years, probably more.

    Gee i guess the “disciplinary report” will go on his “permanent record” and follow him like in grade school.
