Wildfire Burns Seven Acres On Barrineau Park Road

A Monday afternoon wildfire burned about seven acres in the Molino area.

Four tractor/plow units from the Florida Forest Service responded  to a wildfire in the area of Barrineau Park Road and 95A near Molino.

At 4:20  p.m. the fire was about  seven acres with no structures threatened. By nightfall, the fire  was 95 percent contained, with smoke and small flames lingering overnight.

The Cantonment, Molino and McDavid stations of Escambia Fire Rescue were also on scene.

    No, 7 acres is a big fire.

    Got pictures of it as a dirt road. Sure wish i was in those times. Great job to Forest Service.

    RE: A Alex, Highway 196 is also Barrineu Park Road.

    That location is really 196 and 95A. I own property on that stretch of 196. You send me mail at my address and list it Barrineu park road , bet I dont get it.

    Thanks to all crews involved for saving our homes! 7 acres is no small fire, & could have gotten much, much bigger if you people had not intervened, God Bless You All!
