U.S. Marshals Arrest Molino Man Wanted In Two States
February 25, 2017
A Molino man wanted in two states was captured in Pensacola Friday with the help of U.S. Marshals.
Jeremy Clint Hatfield, 26, was wanted on outstanding warrant in Escambia County, AL, and Escambia County, FL.
U.S. Marshals said earlier in the week authorities in Escambia County, AL, tried to serve a warrant on Hatfield, but he assaulted an officer and escaped.
He was captured by U.S. Marshals, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pensacola Police at the Quality Inn on Pine Forest Road Friday early Friday afternoon.
Hatfield was booked into the Escambia County Jail in Pensacola on Florida charges of grand theft, burglary and criminal mischief with property damage. He is awaiting extradition back to Alabama to face additional charges.

Some family members just don’t want help. Sounds like his family tried. This is how we end up with people living on the streets. And people can’t understand why their family won’t take them in.
@Ms L, words very well spoken!
On another thought, you’re done for whenever the U.S. Marshals draws your name and is looking for you. Just as well go to the post office and put a stamp on Yourself because you are as good as SHIPPED!
I was not placing blame on anyone. He has made a lot of bad choices and I am aware of the fact that those on drugs tend to act like they done want help and they screw a lot of family and friends over to get their next fix. I am not saying that no one has helped him, I have tried to help him. But you can’t give up on someone because he didn’t take your help once or twice. Addiction is very hard to overcome. I hate that he is in jail but it’s probably for the best.
In response to the comment from Miss B, I would like to set the record straight. Jeremy’s family has gone above and beyond, not only financially, but emotionally, to try to help him. You simply can’t help someone who does not want your help. Someone who wants drugs more than his next breath. Someone who will lie and steal, or do what ever it takes to get the money he needs to feed his habit. Until he decides he wants help, wants to have a better life, there is nothing anyone can do to help him. It is easy to place the blame on others, but he is solely responsible for the choices he has made and continues to make. I truly hope he does decide to make some positive changes in his life, but don’t blame his family for the situation he finds himself in now. We all have to answer for the choices we make.
@Miss B:
I am a part of his family and I can assure you, we want the very best for Jeremy. He has made some terrible decisions in the recent years… but they were HIS decisions to make. After years of deception, theft, offering him side-jobs to get him back on his feet (jobs were nearly never completed), and years of paying for, quite literally, HIS mistakes, his support system had nothing else to give. I am sure you never heard that side of the story though… people in Jeremy’s self situation tend to forget all the help people try to give them.
I pray for you Jeremy. I have known you for a very long time, you are a better person than this. You have lost your way and I hope you will find your way back to the good person that I know you are. You’ve got to realize that the way you are living is wrong and I wish you had a support system within your family to help you. I will be praying for you!!
After conviction, I hope a judge will impose the maximum sentence possible.
