The Tate High School Showband of of the South is still looking for help finding the person(s) that stole their brand new propane fyer.

The fryer was stolen over Thanksgiving break (November 19-27) last fall from the concession stand at Pete Gindl Stadium on the Tate High School campus. The fryer was used to makeĀ  “Aggie Fries”.

Anyone with information is asked to email ShowBandoftheSouth@gmail.com.

The Showband seeks to get the fryer back — no questions asked.

“The Showband seeks to get the fryer back – no questions asked”

This statement implies that if it’s returned, they won’t pursue criminal charges, is this correct?
Shame on them if so… by not pressing charges you’re rewarding bad behavior.

It Will NOT take long to find the person. With this on Facebook it will get reported. Who ever did it had access to the school after hours and new it was there. They had to have help loading it. Schools are WIDE OPEN and there is no video of the coming and going in these areas.
Fund raising is not just as easy as everyone thinks. I mean everyone in the county is doing from 1-12th grade, every sports complex to just helping someone out in need.
donations are great but its still just a tuff economy in the area.

Understandable they are upset. Our concessions are locked behind a keyed door that few have access to. Even so, cameras abound at our campus.
Perhaps the same at Tate. Somewhere they had to have appeared on campus CCTV ESP since that was during a break and traffic would have been limited…. ?

My question would be where was it kept that someone would have access to it if it were kept behind the concession stand, The gates to the high school should have been locked and there is a additional gate around the stadium. If this happened in November why is this just making the news ? I agree have a fund raiser and with the support for the school , you will be able to buy 2 new ones.

Seems there is a very large number of “low lives” in this area. Certainly a good number of entitlement – minded, thieving, drug addicted, drug dealing, murdering, child molesting, animal abusing, and foul-mouthed people in these parts. Glad there are some nice folks too. I know this ain’t Heaven, but I have to wonder if the Pit has been loosed on us much of the time.

Shame on your for taking away from the Showband of the South kids. These kids work so hard and love what they do. How can you steal something that benefits a wonderful program. All we ask is that you do the right thing and return our fryer.

What kind of low-life steals from a high school? How about a fund raiser to replace it? But keep a camera on it next time.

This fryer was purchased to help eliminate the long lines at the concession stands for Aggie Fries, Tate’s signature concession stand item. The showband used the extra funds created by the play off game that was hosted at Tate this past football season to make the purchase. Having the fryer just walk away took money out of the pockets of our kids that work so hard to make The Showband of the South a part The Aggie Nation. This was an expensive piece of equipment that is used to generate funds. Please help to return it.

The “Aggie Fries” and the “sauced Aggie burgers” are the best around. I hope you find the fryer.
