UPDATE: Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan says “I can not over-emphasize how dangerous this suspect is” and called William Boyette a “killer”.
“There is a killer on the loose and we believe he may be in Escambia County…we have recovered two vehicles that may be attributed to Mr. Boyette, both in Escambia County,” Chief Deputy Chip Simmons said.
The vehicle reported missing following a murder in Lillian, AL, has been recovered in Escambia County near the intersection of I-10 and Nine Mile Road.
He may in the company of Mary Michelle Craig Rice, 37 of Milton (pictured left). She has been missing for two days.
There have been no arrests whatsoever in connection with this case, Morgan said. There is no current vehicle description available.
Previous story:
Authorities in two states and the U.S. Marshals are currently looking for an Escambia County man in connection with a double murder in Santa Rosa County and another murder in Baldwin County, AL.
William “Billy” Eugene Boyette, Jr., a 44, is known to frequent both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
He is wanted for capital murder for the death of Peggy Phillips-Broz. She was found dead outside her Lillian home Friday morning. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola for more than 30 years. Authorities have not released her cause of death.
They found Boyette’s black SUV in the parking lot of Cash Saver Grocery Store on Bower Road and Highway 98 in Lillian. Baldwin County investigators now believe he is driving Broz’s stolen car, a 2003 Chrysler Concorde.
He may be in the company of white woman, officials said.
Boyette is also wanted in connection with a double murder in Milton on Tuesday. Deputies say he killed 30-year old Alicia Greer and 39-year old Jacqueline Moore at the Emerald Sands Inn.
Boyette also has several active felony warrants for unrelated charges.
Anyone with information on Boyette’s whereabouts should call 911. Authorities said he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

He is a monster… everyone should beware. This evil creature tortured beat and strangled my cousin just a few weeks ago… and had been beating her for weeks and has been threatening her and everyone in his/her path.
He is out of his mind cracked out or whatever drus and been up for days. With that combination of drugs no sleep aND pure evilness all I can do is sit here and pray for everyone in his path that he comes in contact with…
Please god let him be caught soon. Hopeful that he isn’t taken alive…..
Looking at his social media profiles, he seems to have a lot of connections with people that are nurses or in the medical field, or studying in the field of nursing for some odd reason.
The lady that was murdered in Lillian, was a respiratory therapist at Baptist.
Also, if you read the information available to us, in my opinion, it paints an evident picture that he is very good at luring authorities in the opposite direction of his whereabouts.
Car found near I-10 and 9 mile, huh? Near my neck of the woods. Defender rounds loaded in the 12 guage, DRTs in the .45 and softpoints in the 7.62×54R. He had better be scootin’ down the Interstate.
Did he go to school or is he from the Pensacola Area? I think I know him from school or association of another friend
REGARDING:
“Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”
The first two usually avoid the third, but if the need arises, planning ahead was wise. You wouldn’t want to mess it up if you really needed to do it.
David for proper planning
If you resemble this man and are not, I would stay indoors until they catch him.
Hope they get him quickly.
@Shay
In today’s world, you should have your head on a swivel at all times anyway. To quote our new Secretary of Defense Mad Dog Mattis: “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”
And in regards to pukes like the one in the story and others like him, I leave you with another quote from SoD Mattis: “You know, guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them.”
I’m hoping the law enforcement catches this guy soon. It’s frightening that a man like him is still on the loose! He has no moral conscience and at this point of time would Not hesitate to harm or kill anyone! He is very sick thinking and deadly!
Went to check on mom, she is locked and loaded, will shoot with out hesitation. Myself always ready. Hope some would be victim splits his skull with a hollow point.
@steven
Thanks for the reply. I just saw on another news link that the s/o stated “he likes to ambush people.”
I never leave home without my gun and being the ex of a Leo I am always aware of my surroundings. Just wasn’t sure if we needed to ramp up our security measures or not.
Chuck, why should the taxpayers pay to bury him? Just dump his body in his mama”’s front yard and let her deal with it.
Time to stay close to home and get this crackhead off the streets!
Hope he tries to break in to the wrong house. Won’t cost the taxpayers anything but a burial on boot hill.
Sick creep!
Any local events should have Extra Security as should any stores, malls and the like wherever there is ready access to Car Jacking.
This guy will stop at nothing to be able to remain free and will take any risk.
15 mins of research, he had a Lillian hwy. Florida address. And one of the female victims was his gf?
Mary, he’s a coward. He’s killed three unarmed women. He’ll probably wet his pants when he is found by the cops. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if he saved everybody the trouble and did himself in.
The liberal judge who let this guy go should resign. Boyette will be caught, hopefully he will be killed and save the state the time and money in convicting him and paying to keep the slug in prison. My prayer is he will not kill anyone else.
“Locked and Loaded”
Boyette may have attempted to alter his appearance?
Not much of a man to go around killing women. This punk needs to be put down.
I can not belive he is still at larger but wait he not lose any thing he might be going to have them look for him and when they find him he not going give up easy law going have to kill him to bring him down
Shay, it appears to pretty much everybody that he killed the lady in Lillian just for her car. At this point, I’d say we all need to be looking out because this guy will kill anybody to get what he needs, food, transportation, shelter. I’m not taking any chances just because I don’t know the guy and I don’t think anybody else should, either. If you see or hear anybody suspicious call the cops. If this maggot breaks into your house on you and your family call the coroner.
Believe me his days are numbered, there’s a price on his head, I just hope it’s soon
I believe it would be hel0ful in apprehending this murder suspect by posting a current picture of Mary Michelle Craig rice as a missing person and may be in the company of this price of crap. I would think this to be legal and if an accomplice you be sure she is doing his leg work due to no pictures televised.
It keeps happening, the jury’s and judges keep letting these folks go. And this will keep on going on. Go ahead feel sorry for them. Here ya go.
Hope they get this killer off the streets soon…
Did this Suspect that now is on the run live in Lillian or in Florida? That the article indicated he frequented Escambia and Santa Rosa counties seems to indicate he did not live there.
My question for local law enforcement would be: what’s the relationship between this monster and his victims? Reason being if he knew them then we don’t have a mad man just killing strangers for their vehicles. If he killed these women out of opportunity then we need to be more observant of our surroundings and safety concerns and not just on the lookout. If that makes sense.
How is this monster still on the street. His arrest record from last year should have put him away for a long time.
