Fourth Boyette Victim, A Beulah Mother Of Two, Has Passed Away

February 8, 2017

The 28-year old Beulah mother of two shot Monday died from her injuries on Tuesday afternoon.

Kayla Crocker was shot in the head during robbery home invasion early Monday morning at her home on Beulah Road by William Boyette, Jr.  Her 2-year old was reportedly in the house at the time but was unharmed.

Boyette stole Croker’s 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, the same vehicle he eventually used to flee to Georgia.

Boyette took his own life Tuesday afternoon in Georgia when authorities surrounded in a hotel room. His accomplice, Mary Rice, is in custody in Georgia. There’s no word yet what charges she will face in connection with Crocker’s death.

Family members have established a GoFundMe account to assist with funeral expenses and to establish an educational fund for her two children – 2-year old James Ross and 6-year old Rhea Naomi. Click here.

Crocker is a 2006 graduate of Tate High School.

Just my opinion….the reward money should go to the person that was instrumental in their capture…..if it doesn’t,we may find that others would not be too quick to turn in information about further criminal activity….not saying only do it for the money nor am I feeling no sympathy for the surviving family, especially the young children….sad all around, let’s not renege on the promises that we make…..let’s have good faith……

I agree with Jennifer the reward should go to the victims. Croaker’s family has a GoFundMe page to help with burial expenses. If the person who tipped of the police of their whereabouts would donate some of the money to this grieving family at least the money would be put to good use.

Many prayers for this young mothers children, family, friends and also for the three other victims families. In the midst of this horror we also need to remember the surviving family members of this maniac Boyette who took a cowards way out and left Rice to answe for it all. It’s not their fault and they are suffering also.

I am so very sorry for your loss. This was so uncalled for and meaningless.
Maybe it was a little poetic justice that he died on the same day-I hope she met him on her way to heaven as the gates of hell opened for him. She will be ok now-he will not! May he burn in hell forever for what he has done in a mear short 7 days.
God Bless your family and I will be praying for you all. Such a tragedy.
    She was a beautiful woman.

I used to be close to her. But lost contact and we were a bit of a distance away. I grew up with her in high school. Knew her and a few others. But seeing her as a victim of a murderer i will never get to see that silly awesome chick again.
I will forever miss you Kayla..May the gods watch over your kids and you be in the hearts of them.

I am certain the reward should go to the alert hotel employee who called this in. Wasn’t that the purpose of the reward?

Yes it’s very sad that those
Kids want know their mama their weddings…grand kids..etc. But what makes me so damn mad is the fact he took a cowards way out and sent that WITCH out of room before offing himself….what a coward..she witnessed him killing them babies mommy..it takes a cold hearted..coliced person such as RICE…when I heard GA had them in hotel room I was so happy but I also had mixed emotions to for the victim’s and their family’s. I told my mom and a friend ” he want go out alive he will most likely go out by suicide by cop” I’m just glad it didn’t come to that there’s ENOUGH victim’s already in this mess that will be a life time of heartaches to damn bad he didn’t kill RICE…I mean come on think about it he didn’t waste no time killing the others why was she any different??? My heart goes out to all the victim’s and family’s.. I PRAY TO GOD SHE GETS EVERY BOOK THERE IS THOUGHED AT HER death row to good for her

Praying for the Crocker Family. Thank God for the person that called in the tip that led Police to the motel where these scumbags were hid out. No telling how many more lives were saved by this tip. Pray for all the families that this maniac has hurt.
