That area is horrible. There are some good people but even they know who the drug dealers are. And some of the good people are related to the dealers. A lot of them just happen to be in jail right now but you can usually go about half way down the paved part on the right and they play cards, dominos, or stand around a burn barrel. I have never once passed a deputy on that road going to or coming from the river.

The one they was shooting at was not involved in it he was guilty of being a friend letting the other boy sleep in his car. No matter what them fools shouldn’t being shooting.Thank God they didn’t hit anyone.

It doesn’t get more cowardly then a drive-by shooting. Folks are way too quick to resort to a gun nowadays

We need to give violent “people” like this 48 hours to turn themselves in, then issue a “wanted dead or alive” alert.
I bet more would give themselves up quickly rather than have several dozen barrels hunting for them.

While it may be classified as a drive by shooting the fact is they were shooting at another vehicle, while driving, over drugs. There are numerous small children in the area and this happened during a church service which was interrupted as these two ignorant, immature individuals drove in front of it while shooting. For those who find drug dealers shouldn’t relieve lengthy prison sentences or released Earl because they are nonviolent offenses, you are wrong. This is the type of incident that occurs over drugs.

Young and stupid. Your entire life has been permanently altered. Kids need to think before they take action. At 19 I didn’t know what to do with my life and joined the military. I did my time and got out. It helped me to grow up and be more confident. I think we need to go back to where there is an option of jail or the military. If you know where they are you need to speak up.

To those that are harboring this scum – turn them in. It is the right thing to do. If they are innocent so be it – if guilty remove them from society till their old arthritic hands can’t even pick up a gun. Again, two examples with no respect for life or the law.
