Storms Bring Egg, Ping-Pong Ball Size Hail To Walnut Hill

A lot of hail fell across the North Escambia area Saturday night during a tornado warning, but there no damage reported.
These photos are from the Occie Philips Road area near Walnut Hill. The National Weather Service in Mobile classified the larger, 2-inch piece of hail above as “egg size”, while the pieces in the photo below were classified as “ping pong ball” size.

We had hail around 9:30 this morning in Cantonment area on Perdido River.
