Motorcyclist Injured In Early Morning Crash With A Deer

A motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital after hitting a deer on Highway 95A near Quintette Road about 4:15 Wednesday morning. The deer ran away from the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The Cantonment Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and Escambia County EMS also responded to the crash.     I would guess they were riding slow because of the fog. The damage looks minimal.

    Looks like the bike (very nice Harley, btw) came out of it okay, hope the rider makes a full recovery. Been there, done that, but mine was a dog. :(

    It was a perfect foggy early morning for deer to roam – hope the cyclist will recover soon.
