January 3, 2017

A driver buried his vehicle deep in the woods late Monday night.

A passerby found the man wandering around Highway 95A at Quintette Road just before midnight. Firefighters arrived to find that the man had wrecked his vehicle, and it came to rest well over 150 feet into a wooded area.

The man refused medical treatment.

The accident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The Molino Station of Escambia Fire Rescue also responded to the call.

That’s impressive, but there have been a few 200ft plus jumps there over the years. At least he stayed upright, most don’t. They really need to put some speed humps or something in on the approach to that intersection (on Quintette, coming from the railroad tracks).

There is a stop sign there but I guess if you are going to fast and not paying attention you will miss it . Then you will go 150 ft in the woods
