Steven E. Moore, 63, of Cantonment, FL, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

Steven was raised in Quincy, Florida. He married his one and only sweetheart on April 22, 1978. He began a skilled trade of welding and traveled the United States working at different nuclear power plants and shipyards before settling in Pensacola, FL in 1986 with his beloved wife. He worked as a chemical operator and firefighter for Solutia and more recently began instructing welding at Pensacola State College where he enjoyed sharing his welding knowledge and skills with his eager students.

He was a long-time member of Olive Baptist Church where he volunteered at the Welcome Center. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with Debbie and his family, maintaining a pristine lawn, and playing golf as often as he could. Those who knew him well, knew that Steve was extraordinarily faithful and generous; loving God and caring deeply for the love of his life and his family. He was a grateful man who enjoyed his life; he never met a stranger, frequently teased those he loved, and always had a smile for everyone. He would want everyone to remember the smile he placed on your face and the laughter in your heart.
