Prison For Man Caught Taking Picture Of Boy In Church Bathroom

December 15, 2016

A man is headed to prison after taking picture of a young child in a church bathroom.

Circuit Judge Scott Duncan sentenced Korey Holt, age 26, to eight years in state prison to be followed by four years of probation for one count of video voyeurism. Holt was also designated a sexual offender and will be required to register as a sexual offender and comply with all statutory requirements.

On April 24, 2016, Holt took a photograph of the victim, a young child, while the child was using the bathroom at a local church. The child told his parents, and the incident was reported to the Pensacola Police Department. Based on the child’s description and further investigation, Holt was developed as a suspect. Holt was interviewed by investigators and admitted to taking  photographs of the young child in the bathroom.

    Laura Holt, have you thought about that lil boy & his family? That lil boy will live with this for the rezt of his life & his family will also, not 8 years but life. If you know best you’d cut ties with your brother. Just saying I would never allow close contact ever again with my brother around kids. He could change but you never know

    @Laura Holt
    Im sorry you and the rest of your family have been embarrassed and shamed by your brothers actions. I believe in forgiveness also. However, in this case it should only come after the consequences of his actions have been completed and he shows remorse. Further, he has a terminal illness. What should be done, say it’s ok and make him Sunday School teacher ?
    One more thing, he should be put “on blast”with a sign on front of his residence upon his release stating what he did. Just sayin…

    Leave my brother alone. This family has been through enough. He is doing time…..I can’t see my brother for that long of time. He’s off the street move the hell on and let my brother do his time and move on with his life. I believe in forgiveness and the bond of family. Please out of respect for me and my family don’t put my brother on blast.

    A sickness for which there is no cure. No telling what he hasn’t been caught for. Eight years, please. Thats a slap on the wrist. I’d rather a theif or drug dealer in society than him.
