December 24, 2016
A man wanted for robbing an employee of a Pensacola business at gunpoint on Tuesday has been arrested.
Marsarius Savontae Evans, aka “T.T.”, 26, no permanent address, was arrested Friday afternoon at a residence in the 2400 block of North F Street. He was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault.
The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Smart Fill, 4306 N. Davis Highway.
The suspect entered the store, grabbed a 27-year-old female clerk by the arm, showed a gun, and demanded money. When the suspect couldn’t open the cash register, he took the employee’s wallet and left the store.

All I’m saying is….. everyone has a story! It’s my opinion and I have the right to it….
@ LD: Yes, he is different from me. In the last 58 years, I took nothing from anyone at the point of a gun. I’m not a felon who isn’t allowed to carry a weapon. I put no one in fear for their life by pointing and aiming a weapon at them. I have never been in a court of law seated at the defendant’s table and heard the words, “Guilty as Charged.”
So, yes, he is different from me.

Nope look at his record he’s been doing this for a long time.
He is a repeat offender. Jail didn’t work time to fine a different solution for him. You can defend your criminal friends all you want, but there still criminals.
He’s no different from me or you… maybe he did try to get jobs and maybe the ones in position to hire him saw him just as you see him and wouldn’t give him a chance. No matter what he’s done he’s still someone’s child… I’m in no way agreeing with that which he’s done but I am saying everyone has a story…. I
Why work when you can just thug your way around and take from those who do work?
@ mick & Jason;
Brother do you have THAT Right.
Check this guy out on Escambia Co Clerk of Court and you’ll wonder why he was out of custody wandering around robbing people.
ENOUGH OF CONVICTED FELONS WITH FIREARMS ROBBING PEOPLE. PUT HIM IN PRISON AND KEEP HIM THERE. DAMN!
I wonder if this subject was involved in another 3 business armed robberies that occurred in the Sheriff Office jurisdiction between 12/18 and 12/23/6?
The robberies happened on:
12/18 @ 4:09am – Circle K – Michigan and South Gulf Manor;
12/18 @ 6:53pm – unknown store – Pace and Mallory
12/23 @ 2:19am – unknown store – Mobile Hwy and Blue Angel/Longleaf
