Gary Lee Boehrns

Gary Lee Boehrns, age 64, of Pensacola, Florida passed away December 11, 2016, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, surrounded by his family.

Gary was born March 27, 1952, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to George and Joyce Boehrns. He spent four years in the Marines, then 22 years in the Navy serving his country. He  married Victoria Stricherz on April 16, 1978. He loved hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his family in spare time.

He is survived by his daughters, Tabatha (Dan) Taylor Jacksonville, Florida, Angie (Charlie McClain) Anderberg, and Melisa Nelson all of Pensacola ,Florida; son, Scott (Melissa) Boehrns of Salem South Dakota; 10 grandkids, Danielle and Dalton Taylor, Cody(Alexis) Braswell, Mikey Sklar, Christian Stubblefield, Maleah and Christopher Nelson, Taylor Boehrns, Jace and Bay Boerhns; one great grandkid, Skylar Braswell; mother, Joyce VanDyke; six brothers, Bruce (Renae), Pat, Steven and Randy (Sheila) Boehrns and Kevin (Diane) and Dean (Marie) VanDyke; one sister, Deborah Boehrns; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Boehrns; father, George Boehrns; step-father, Hank VanDyke; and brother, Lonny Sr Boehrns.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North in Cantonment.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is entrusted with the arrangements.
