December 12, 2016

Escambia Fire Rescue saved a cat from a house fire Sunday morning.

Firefighter Brandon Stevens from the Bellview Station of Escambia Fire found the cat barely alive during the salvage and cleanup following a house fire on Mobile Highway.  He was provided the feline with oxygen and able to revive it.

Neighbors transported the cat to a local veterinarian for further evaluation..

I’m so glad that Brandon cared enough to save this little Kitty Cat. We have three cats and a dog and I love them all so much! Some people would have just moved on. Our pets are members of our family too! Great job Brandon!!! :)
