Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect
October 4, 2016
No one was injured this afternoon when a man robbed a Penscola bank of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The incident occurred just after noon at the Centennial Bank, 2200 Airport Boulevard. The suspect walked up to a teller and handed her a note demanding cash. He said he had a gun but didn’t show one. The suspect then left the bank possibly in a dark green full-sized GMC truck with tinted windows.
The suspect was a black male, possibly in his early 30s and about six feet tall. He had a mustache, and was wearing a long-sleeved yellow shirt with a patch on the left shoulder sleeve, rolled up dark jeans, dark hat, and sunglasses.
Anyone having information on the incident is asked to contact the Pensacola Police Department at (850) 435-1900.

@ mick
Do you really think if someone is going into a bank to ROB it they give a flip about signs or policies? For crying out loud they’re going in with a predetermined intention to commit a FELONY and if they indicate they have a weapon then the only option the bank personnel or customers have is to Believe they will use it.
@ Patriot … Right ON.
mick,
Most bank policies prohibit armed robbery as well. Apparently, this guy has no respect for policies. Who’d a thunk it?
I know what you mean,BoB C. I Carry everywhere I go. EVERYWHERE.
I bet there are a great many more like us.
This county is becoming a hot zone.
Most bank policies prohibit the wearing of sunglasses upon entering and signs posted request the removal of them, call it profiling if you want, but this scumbag should have immediately called for suspicion on bank personnel’s part.
“Patch” on left side looks like it might be a logo for a company or perhaps the name of this person.
More looks like tape or something put there to hide something that would identify him.
Is there something on his face to hide a mark or tattoo?
Hope the LEO catches this guy very soon as he must be in dire need to rob a bank in full daylight and indicating he has a gun.
Seems that we are NOT SAFE anywhere we may go these days. Why my wife and I and the grown kids carry all the time when away from home.
My bet is there are D-R-U-G-S involved in this guys motive.
