Need A Job? Job Fair With 50 Employers Is Friday

CareerSource Escarosa will host its 8th annual Fall Job Fair this Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pensacola State College Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio (Bldg. 23) located at 1000 College Blvd. in Pensacola.

CareerSource Escarosa is proud to partner with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard and the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs, to host Paychecks for Patriots as part of this year’s annual job fair to kick-off Military Family Appreciation Month in November.

The is a free community event with walk-ins welcome. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with more than 50 area employers seeking applicants to fill current job openings.

Attending employers will be recruiting individuals to fill positions in manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, administration, hospitality, customer service and retail, communications, government, corrections, and more.

Job seekers are urged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes, as some employers may choose to conduct on-site interviews.

    As always thank you for the information of what’s going on around town and especially for this one, for the ones seeking employment. As for the professionalism, it’s just a friendly reminder. Not intended that anybody doesn’t have any home training. Some weren’t as lucky to have parents growing up, going from foster home to foster home. Lets not make something out of nothing.     Thinking back to days when we had Business Education in our schools and had Parents who taught such at Home which made this line from the article totally unnecessary:

    “Job seekers are urged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes, as some employers may choose to conduct on-site interviews.”

    We had Home Training and did not need prompts as to what an employer would expect of us in a job interview or in life.
