Miriam “Billie” Brown, 79, of Pensacola went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 18, 2016. Billie was born on November 9, 1936 in Pensacola, FL to Joseph S. Sanders and Genevieve Nobles Sanders. Billie enjoyed her early life in Gull Point and surrounding areas and graduated from Pensacola High School. She married the love of her life, James Eddie Brown (Jim Brown) and was married for 46 years.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; and two brothers, Daniel (Danny) Sanders and Wayne Sanders.
She is survived by her sister, Marie (Junior) Pickering; brothers, Tommy (Deloris) Sanders and Joseph (Jewel) Sanders; daughter, Debbie Brown Shytle; son, Jim (Susan) Brown; daughter, Susan (Michael) Brown Hirras; and son, Danny Brown. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kristie Tims (Larry), Mandy Cloud Henderson (Jamie), Edward Cloud, Jr., Kristin Cloud Lee (Austin), Jennifer Shytle Booth (Brad), Justin Shytle, Natalie Gonzalez Parsons (Greg), Stamatios Hirras; great-grandchildren, Coleby James Henderson, Tyler Edwin Henderson, Stone Riley Henderson, Maddy Susanne Henderson, Landyn Danielle Cloud, Nicholas Edward Cloud, Zachary Tims, Anna Grace Tims, Kaylie Faith Lee, Isabella Audrey Lee, Audrey Kate Lee, Elijah Cane Booth, Addison Renee Parsons, Harleigh Grace Parsons and Palmer James Parsons.
Mom and Dad were founding members of Ferry Pass Baptist Church. They raised four children in a loving home with God’s teachings and church being an integral part of our lives. They took great pride in knowing all of their children were saved, having accepted Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation.
Mom you will be surely missed in every role you played in each of our lives. May you sing and dance in all of God’s Glory till we join you again.
Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2016, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Wheat officiating.
Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery.
