Bluff Springs Road To Close For 130 Days
October 20, 2016
Bluff Springs Road will be closed beginning Tuesday, November 1 due to a bridge replacement required by the Florida Department of Transportation. Roadway closures are expected to remain in effect for 130 days, with the project expected to be completed around March 2017.
The scope of work includes clearing, grading, drainage, paving, signage and bridge construction approximately 300 feet east and west of the intersection of Pritchett Mill Creek and Bluff Springs Road.
There are no permanent residences located beyond the road closure, but Escambia River and camp access via Bluff Springs Road will be cut off.

it goes all the way to the river even if it is fenced off unless the right of way was legally abandoned. Homesteading public property is not a thing anymore.
Quit worrying about Pringle St. There is private property down there now and the right of way don’t go all the way to the gravel lake road.
Old dog, the story says Bluff Springs Rd
Not Dawson Rd
So to the gravel lakes
Are they talking about the bridge down by gravel lakes? Or the bridge on Dawson
This would be a good time to reopen Pringle Street, formerly the route of Dawson Road before it crossed the creek to reach Bluff Springs Road–platted as Johnson Street, since it was platted a public road and never officially abandoned.
David for at least two escape routes
