Arena Dawson

Arena Dawson, 65 of Walnut Hill, FL, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016, in Pensacola, FL.
She worked in elderly care as a sitter. She was born in Atmore, AL on March 12, 1951, to the late Jim and Clara Beth Caraway Thomas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Dawson.
Survivors include two sons, Travis Dawson and John Dawson, both of Atmore; one brother, Roy (Nancy) Thomas of Enon, FL; two sisters, Corine (Eddie) Boggs of Walnut Hill, FL and Betty Morris of Canoe, AL; and one grandchild.
Services were held Wednesday , October 19, 2016, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Thompson officiating.
Interment was in Pine Barren Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Todd Morris, Randal Morris, P.J. Thomas, Kenny McWayian, Robert Hall and Joshua Thomas.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of all arrangements.
