Robert Lee Brasch, Sr.

Robert Lee “Bob” Brasch, Sr., 78, a long-time resident of Pensacola, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2016. He was born the youngest of three children to Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Ida Brasch on January 15, 1938, in Watertown, Wisconsin.

He graduated from Spencerian College in June of 1961 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. He was a member of Phi Theta Pi Alpha Kappa Fraternity.

In Oct 24, 1961, Bob married the love of his life, Patricia “Pat”; it was love at first sight. The following year, they started their amusement business, Triple R. Amusement, playing fairs, festivals, and celebrations from Florida to Wisconsin. In 1974, they expanded their business along the Gulf Coast with Emerald Coast Amusements, playing St. Anne’s Roundup, Elberta Sausage Festival, Atmore May Fest, and Pensacola Seafood Festival. He semi-retired in 2009. He never met a stranger and he always left them smiling.

He is preceded in death by parents, Ida and Charles Brasch; brother, Charles D. Brasch; and nephew, Kent Brasch.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat; sons, Robert L. Brasch, Jr. and Randy C. (Lisa) Brasch, Sr.; five grandchildren, Randy C. (Brooke) Brasch Jr., Regan Brasch, Rachael (Bradley) Smith, Robert A. (Rebecca) Brasch, and Jessica (Larry Smith) Brasch. He was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Jennie Liebhart; nephews, Jimmy and Billy Liebhart, Lee Brasch; and other family and friends of Watertown, WI; and Stormy, his faithful furry friend.

On October 1, 2016, a memorial service will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. until the service begins at 3 p.m. Pastor Matthew Dollhausen will be officiating and Vickie Dollhausen will be the soloist.
