Century Ballpark Altercation Lands Woman In Jail

September 3, 2016

An altercation between two women at a Century ballpark landed one of them in jail on felony charges.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Anthony Pleasant Park late Thursday afternoon to find the victim sitting in a car bleeding from her head. The victim told deputies that she was having an ongoing issued with the best friend of her husband’s ex-wife, later identified as Kelsey Lauren Therrell, age 24 of McDavid.

The victim told deputies that when she left her home several miles away, she noticed Therrell following her, and then she pulled alongside the victim “giving her the finger”. When the victim exited her car at Anthony Pleasant Park, she said Therrell attacked her, beating her in the face. Therrell then reportedly fled the area. The story was corroborated by a witness.

When deputies located Therrell at an address on Roberts Road, she stated under oath that she was “not involved in her friend’s drama”, an arrest report states, and that the victim tried to run her and her children off of the roadway.

The victim was treated on the scene and then transported herself to an area hospital for treatment of puncture wounds she believed were caused by keys.

The Department of Children and Families was notified of the incident.

Therrell was arrested for aggravated stalking and aggravated battery using a deadly weapon. She was released from the Escambia County Jail Friday on a $5,000 bond.

I know none of these people. Some people love drama.

Sounds like an audition for the Jerry Springer Show.

“Get serious” there is a difference in bickering back and forth on social media and following someone with your kids in the car and jumping out and beating them in the face with keys in front of the victims child. This girl has stabbed a woman before and has been in an uncountable amount of fights she is a violent person. And as far as resident I know the victim and I would trust her with my children obviously she didn’t expect to be stalked down and stabbed in thevface with keys. And if that is true that the victim ran her off the road why wouldn’t she go to the police station and tell them?

Grow up. How pathetic for a grown woman to exhibit such behavior in front of children. You’re not in high school anymore. Such dangerous behavior should result in real punishment.

Wow this is really sad. All over a “friend” that dont care. And its really sad the she put her young children in this. She will do anything for attention, even at the risk of loosing her kids. I hope she gets what she deserves

Kelsey, john and I have watched you grow from a child in elementary into an amazing, strong beautiful young woman and mother over the years. You work hard and bust your tail end to take care of your babies and they are all great kids because of you. Stand tall, stand proud . you have many friends and family to back you in these truths. We are here for you and your family if you want us to. We love all of all y’all ,just like our own. For those that don’t know the entire situation, look in a glass mirror and put God in your heart. Its easy to make negative comments when you the entire situation is not reported.

The bond was too low for a dangerous waco that needs councilling for anger management.

Kelsey Therrell, honey let your “friend” fight her own battles. Y’all probably won’t even be friends in a year. You are way too old to be doing such foolishness. Grow up!!!

I am not on either one of the girls side and I have no dealings with either one of them but I have seen post from both girls and both played a role in what happen. Nagging back and forth on social media for a while now from both girls everyone knows it that is on social media so I am not saying what the girl did was right by no means, but the other girl is trying to make it look like she is this innocent victim when she is as guilty as the other one. At least one of the girls owns up to what she has done , while the other one is playing the innocent victim! Both girls she be charged!

There is always more to the story and given the situation Kelsey did what any other person would do let’s be honest she is a good person and a great mom no need for harsh judgement and opinions just saying

“Are you serious,” apparently the Judge was. She deserves everything she got and possibly more. What if that key had caught the girl in the eye? Might have blinded her! What about following her down the road? What if that had caused an accident? What if other cars had been involved? A lot of “what its”, but those “what ifs” could have maimed or killed someone! This young fault is acting like a child. She needs to get a harsh awakening, and that seems to have started with the Judge. If her family had been smart she’d have sat her butt in jail and thought about her actions for awhile. Grow up, mined your own business, and stay out of others troubles. It did mean enough to her friend to put her neck on the line, let your friend handle her own issues.

Isn’t one of these women a girls cheerleading coach at Century responsible for our children? Scary.

I’m not hunting down the X’s of any of my friends. If the X doesn’t care, why does she?:
    Does she call this living?

I feel so bad for the kids. I don’t think no man or woman is worth fighting over. The kids are never going to know anything except violence. This is a disgrace to all her family. I would say shame on you but you would only laugh…shame, shame

That is no way for a Mom to be acting! Shame on you.

Bond is only for the purpose of making sure somebody comes to court. Punishment is given by the judge after being proved guilty. Some misdemeanors, mostly domestic violence, have no bond to allow for some separation. If a person has a history of not going to court, they could have a misdemeanor with a high bond whereas somebody with a felony but no history of failure to appear could have a lower bond.

5000 dollar bond for agg stalking and battery how in the hell is that possible on top of that I see people everyday with no bond for misdemeanor battery and she gets bond for a second degree felony battery

    1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

That includes women too. What kind of an example do you think you are making in front of the children? They will grow up to be a white trash thug just like you. Don’t you want better for the children? Shameful.
