Wayne Campbell Blanchett

Wayne Campbell Blanchett of Cantonment, passed away August 3, 2016. Wayne was born in Abbeville, SC. He was a longtime member of Victory Assembly Church, served in the U.S. Navy for 26 years and retired as a Master Chief. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Dot Blanchett; daughter, Joyce LaWayne Blanchett and great grandson, Aiden Riley Henry.
He is survived by his daughters, Deby Slack and Jennifer Jackson; grandchildren, Wayne Slack and his wife Carla, Derek Slack and his wife Shannon; Carlie Severin, Abbie Huff and Cade Jackson; great-grandchildren, Marley and Piper Slack, Emmy and Ethan Severin; three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Victory Assembly Church with Bro. Jeff McKee will be officiating.
Interment to follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.
