I knew both of these kids when they were growing up. The sad part of this is that not only has the victims family lost a love one, but the suspects family now stands the chance to lose a loved one if convicted. These shootings around the country are just getting so out of hand. Is it really worth it? What ever happened to the day when if you had a problem with one another, you fought it out and forgot about it the next day? Now days, they shoot one another. Death is so final. My sympathy goes out to both families. Mike Amerson

Good LORD, we looked this Marquis Derrell Bryant up on Clerk of Court and he’s got a page full of FELONY arrests including drugs and firearm charges.
Why was he on the streets?
Judges, you have a lot of explaining to do to the family of Mr. Griffin and us in the public.

    Prayers for the family.

Why would Marquis do this? Did Alphonso know him? Why is there so much violence?

Thank You Very Much Judges for allowing this man (Marquis Derrell Bryant) to be out of jail and take a persons life. He has a BIG long rap sheet but yet you let him walk and now look what has happened. If our legal system would keep animals like him locked up things like this wouldn’t happen. RIP Fonso, I didn’t know you but from what others have said you were a good person and father.

Rest in heaven fonzo! You will truly be missed, and I know you are watching over your son. It’s sad he has to grow up without a father because of this person. I didn’t know you that well, but I knew you were a good person and a great father. Fly high man. I’m so sorry, but you earned your wings.

It doesn’t matter what transpired someone lost their lives and a family lost a part of them. My prayers are with them and I hope that the individual responsible is found. God bless

Rest in peace Fonso . We gone miss you . I know the comments are going to come about thugs this and thugs that but Alphonso wasn’t that type of person . Just a all around good dude everyone loved him all he ever did was love and help people. Now his son gotta grow up without a father because of this young man wanting to be bad .

Sad state when the people are so afraid of the thugs that they mostly never see anything, didn’t hear nothing, don’t know nothing and don’t want to speak badly about other people.
The silent ones give the gangsters, druggies and bad guys a go ahead to keep up their bad actions.
