Cantonment Man Busted For Video Voyeurism At Target

July 23, 2016

A Cantonment man has been arrested for voyeurism after allegedly using a miniature camera to film up a woman’s skirt in a Target store.

Christopher Edward Dreyer, age 36 of Wiggins Lane, was charged with the felony sexual offense of video voyeurism and battery. He was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $6,000 bond.

A female customer inside the Target on Nine Mile Road told the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office that she was standing in a store aisle when she felt something touch her leg. She turned around and saw Dreyer bending down at a bottom shelf. She said she asked Dreyer what he was doing at which time he replied that he was picking something up.

According to deputies, Dryer can clearly be seen on store surveillance video as he approached the victim from behind with what was identified as a micro-camera. He is clearly seen, deputies said, placing the camera device between the woman’s legs under her skirt. The victim was clearly startled when Dryer touched her inner leg. According to an arrest report, the victim’s statements were clearly corroborated by the store video.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is asked anyone that believes they may have been the victim of a similar incident to call them at (850) 436-9620.

No, they would probably get angry about the situation, and in their hypocrisy, they will be reminded by their conscience about the time they poked fun at some victim on NorthEscambia.com.

Also where is the women’s rights organizations in all this, I haven’t heard a peep.

Not meaning to get off topic, but they should grind up all of Dreyers cameras make him eat them, then send him to prison.

I agree with John, that was a distasteful comment, I myself felt the comment was out of place. Downright disgusting, toward such an article. I bet that woman or any other woman wouldn’t think it was okay to poke fun, no that wasn’t okay, that woman was violated, she was probably in shock or just confused or a second in denial about something yapping to a person like that out in the open, I probably would have been. Although, if he’d have done that to me or one of my kids, he probably would be needing medical help.

I guess I can safely assume this would still be funny to people if this happen to your wife, daughter, mother, sisters ect.

By saying “the other comments aren’t worth my time” it generally equates to the fact that you have no way to defend your remarks that wouldn’t cause you to look at yourself to possibly be a problem.

I wouldn’t be asking the pervert all those questions. He would be seeking first aid for a bloody nose and bashed face. A kick in the face for every time he slips that camera under a skirt, will stop that sicko.

JT’s comment is appropriate according to the rules. He wins best comment of the day.

    @Chris

Last time I checked, you don’t have to walk through the bathroom to get into the store, also list retailers with same policy?

All other comments aren’t worth my time!

JT, that comment gave me my first good smile of the day. Thanks!
John, you haven’t “allowed” your family to shop there? Wow, sounds a bit like a dictatorship to me. Lighten up dude and quit taking yourself too seriously. “Ashes to diamonds, foe and freind, we’ll all be equal in the end” some old Pink Floyd lyrics to think about buddy.

Seems like Target’s transgender bathroom policy had nothing to do with this incident. This is just a guy who has little if any self control. Furthermore, if the TG bathroom policy offends you, check out all the other retailers with similar policies.

John, quit getting offended by everything. You’re offended by target, you’re offended by comments on NE. Man it must suck to live a life where you’re just offended constantly. It might be time to get yourself some thicker skin buddy. People who cry about being offended are the people that ruin things for everyone else. And btw, people being offended are the exact reason why you are boycotting Target. Stop being part of the problem man.

    @ mick

Leo did confiscate all devices he had with him for a later search warrant.

@JT Funniest comment I have read all week haha!
@John Sorry buddy, if you get so offended at comments you may need to stop reading them.

This guy’s bond was too light for public deviancy.

If this poor ‘vert had just got his computernet and went to “People of —Mart,” he could have saved himself a lot of trouble, and us a lot of disgust. Heck, he wouldn’t have even needed a camera.

JT’s comment is not rude…it’s just satirical humor. Lighten up a bit.

It’s probably the best comment in a long time.

I hope this man gets what he deserves, to think how many women he has probably violated prior to being caught is so disturbing. This has nothing to do with it being at Target and to assume that makes you a moron, gosh forbid a store be accepting of all individuals you have to boycott them and assume that’s why this happened there…so sad.

  15. mick on July 23rd, 2016 9:24 am

Shouldn’t have let the perv bond out. LE should execute a search warrant and confiscate his computer. There should be enough perversion on there to put him away for a long time.

  16. john on July 23rd, 2016 8:57 am

I haven’t allowed our family in a Target store since their policy changes, we used to shop their all the time. I do believe now people are less safe there. I pray this woman gets some justice.

And @ NorthEscambia.com under rule#5 is JT’s comment what you qualify as appropriate?

  17. Dee on July 23rd, 2016 8:52 am

JT, best comment I’ve ever seen! The Internet is yours today sir!
