I love the forgiveness and prayers from the family for this young man. It takes someone that has a strong relationship with the Lord to not follow their flesh and let the anger take over. I always try to think of how someone like that was raised, what’s going on in their life, is their any mental illness. Ms. Penny I think it’s awesome u are choosing forgiveness and prayers for this young man to change his life. And I’ll be praying for no longterm affects physically, mentally and financially for your mother from this accident.

Oh Priscilla, such a beautiful young lady to be caught in the middle of such an ugly situation. Beautiful name, gorgeous face. You’re way too good looking to be messing with a bum like that. He’s got no license, no truck and presumably no job. A nothing happening guy. Look in the mirror, you’re worth far more than that!
If you need guidance in your life let me know. God Bless you girl!

    >>I’m a bit confused as to why the owner of the truck was arrested.

The charge is “permitting an unauthorized person to drive”. She allegedly knew Mr. Myrick did not have a license, per the FHP, but allowed his to drive anyway. See his list of charges.

This involved my Mother and my child. I am PRAISING THE LORD that they are OK!! It could have been worse. Now I am PRAYING that this young man turns himself in so that no one gets hurt. My prayer is also that he turns his life around. The Lord has a special plan for everyone!! We need to pray for our younger generation now more than ever!!! The Bible says to Be alert and of sober mind, Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Colby Myrick, you have been a bad boy for years now. It’s not so hard to be good and follow the straight road. It takes more effort to lead a life down a rocky road. Don’t you get it? Come out of hiding and get down to the Escambia Sheriff’s Office and turn yourself in. Things are going to be a lot worse the longer this drags out looking for you. Be a man and do it !

easy with the hatred. Everyone is someones child, sibling, spouse, parent or loved one. Instead of providing hatred of the “upstanding citizen” he is… Can we all hope for a better life for him? He has a mother. For her sake instead of ripping her child to pieces in the media let’s send thoughts of comfort and love to his family. People mess up. We all eat the forbidden fruit from the forbidden tree every day. Some just tend to eat more and more often than others. He’s had his issues but he is young. Let’s hope for some realization in this for his family’s sake that he can turn it around.

We have the same type in our neighborhood too! The mother and father even teach their teenage children to swap tags on vehicles that are not registered and they teach them to hide from police when they visit their house twice a week .

Real upstanding guy right there. We’ve got one right around the corner from us too. Five or six times in jail for revoked license and it does no good at all. Every time he gets out he’s diving again in a few days. You just can’t fix stupid.

Key words – reckless and habitual driving, he left the scene injuring someone without any regard for human life. the only thing that will keep him from driving is prison, for a long time – he is a habitual criminal with no remorse .
