Tropical Storm Colin Heads Toward Florida; Thunderstorms Today

Tropical Storm Colin, which formed Sunday afternoon, is headed toward a landfall in the Big Bend area of Florida. It will have no great impact on our North Escambia weather. The latest information on the storm, including wind speed and coordinates, are in the graphic above (click to enlarge).

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. North wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. North wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 65. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 90. North wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 60. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 92. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

So here we are into the 2016 hurricane season. 3 Named storms. My neighbor’s trees are still looming over my property. Their trees have cost me , and my insurance company, $7000.00 plus since hurricane Erin and Ivan. It’s good to have insurance, but , dang it, I don’t have time to deal with this. I think my neighbors are clueless, but the current law says they are not responsible if their big trees are “healthy.”
