Dozens of candidates had qualified to appear on the ballot in Escambia County when qualifying ended Friday at noon.

Gerald Washington, run for Super of Schools is a puzzle to me.
Seems this man was arrested in Leon County for identity theft and fraud.
Did he get convicted on bilking people out of money in an employment scheme?
If that is true how can he run for any public office?
