Cantonment Business Seeks Help In Finding Brazen Thief
May 14, 2016
A Cantonment small business was victim of brazen theft late Friday afternoon, just before closing time.
A man walked into A-1 Small Engines in Cantonment and walked out with nearly $1,000 in small power equipment, including a string trimmer and a chainsaw. He allegedly fled in Ford F150 occupied by another man.
The extended cab pickup, with possible Florida tab BAY K73 sped northward on Highway 29, according to the business.
A-1 Small Engine is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the return of the stolen property and a conviction of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 433-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

I had Stihl weedeater, blower, hedge trimmer, and Husqvarna chainsaw stolen from my locked enclosed trailer in atmore 3 weeks ago. I don’t where people are selling these things off.
If you are ever offered one of these items/cellphone, you should make sure that the seller has the original receipt. There is no reason that they shouldn’t keep it. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
The guys at A-1 have always done good and honest work. It sucks that someone would steal from them.
Here’s to hoping they get caught…and maybe get a little beating before being turned over to the cops.
Betting the truck is stolen too……..but hope they catch them!
Hope they find this low life for stealing. Probably in a stolen truck or they are stupid. The truck appears to belong to a person requiring a motorized scooter. Unless that was stolen too. Besides a handicapped person could not load or unload that scooter from a bed of a truck. Thumbs up for A-1 having video surveillance.
I’ll faint if that truck isn’t stolen!
Wow. If you can afford a big fine pickup truck like that you can afford a weedeater. Just goes to show, don’t judge by the vehicle they come driving up in, they could still be up to no good.
Good thing they have good cameras in A1– they will be arrested -
Not much doubt about a weedeater in back of the truck. You would think if the tag was legit this story would be about their arrest.
Sorry mick your in the country that believes society is the problem not the thief.
Some countries cut off a hand of the thief…
prayets that A1’s property is recovered and the two men turn themselves in.
They will find truck on side of road with stolen good missing and the truck owner reporting vehicle stolen. The store probably have inside cameras with good photos I hope. The people that run that store are great people.
If anybody knows who this is post it here for all to see….we need to know who would do this kinda thing
If truck is his, he should have been able to pay for the items. Bet tag isn’t the trucks tag. No pics of the guy inside.
There is what appears to be a motorized scooter, as used by the differently abled, sitting in the bed.

Boy this should be a easy catch, He or She is a real dummy. that tag number is going to do them in, lol
