Weren’t we told that Crime is Down (in spite of the statistics) in Escambia County?

Lately, it seems these thugs have absolutely no fear of Law Enforcement and I know in my heart the LEO on the streets are Good, Hard Working men and women.
To just feel bold enough to stroll into two stores, rob them and in this case murder a fine Citizen. Heard on t.v. news he Sat in a Car for several minutes before leaving the scene of the crime.
I know LEO cannot be everywhere but there sure seem to be fewer officers available to respond the past few years.
Prayers for the family, Prayers for our dedicated law enforcement to find this man before he harms or kills again. He has no conscience.

@ Dee….well said. The problem with that species of mammal is their IQ is about the same as a carrot and they can’t comprehend consequences for actions.

Yeah this is wrong hell he was the fastest cashier in Pensacola never had a problem. He didn’t hound you like you were about to steal like some cashiers in mom and pop like stores. This is wrong. Wrong Wrong. Senseless

Prayers to the family. This anger me. This city is out of control. When they find him he should not get a trial he should go straight to death penalty since there is video and proof. I feel home invasions and should change to life in prison also. These crimes that you have this much proof needs to be death penalty. eye for eye. Anyone who can kill doesn’t deserve to live. This city needs clean up with drugs and killing. Meth is out of control in this city and the crime is too. You can drive through neighorhoods and see drug transaction in the road. If we don’t have enough officer put the military on the roads at night to help. If we can send the military ovdersea to fight crime lets fight the crimes here in the states. These meth heads are robbing and killing for 20 bucks. Lets make Pensacola safe again. Home and schools and jobs should be safe and it takes the communities to help fight back. Lets get this pos off the streets before he strikes again. Time for city clean up.

Homicide during commission of a burglary. That’s felony murder and that’s a death sentence. See ya later “homie”, I hope the 100$ you got by robbing a gas station was worth your life.

I’m a victim of armed robbery in the Tri-County area. I was working a night shift when a young man put a gun to my face for $30. The young man was a teenage (16 yeas old) boy who had to rob me as part of a gang initiation. 11 of his “gang” members stood across the street to witness it. All I could think was I’m going to die for $30 dollars! My job was even threatened that night when I told my supervisors that I wanted to home (I had a spotless work record, never late, never called out sick in the fe years I worked at that location). That night I was even covering for another employee who had a family emergency.

These companies do not care about the safety of their employees. The turnover rate at convenience stores are so high that these places do not even take proper safety measures beyond “bait and switch”. Knowing what I know, and knowing what goes I to keeping a 24 hour store running, there should always be at least 2-3 people per shift. But these companies will simply say its not financially feasable to have that many people on staff per shift. Its all about that money with them. Laws need to be changed to protect these hard working individuals. And the criminals who pull guns on these clercks should be accountable for any and all medical bills no matter how old they are. If they want to be children playing adults then they need to pay the real price of their actions.

I’m so sorry for the family :( He was a great person and will be deeply missed. He called me Boss Lady and I called him Boss Man. He always had a smile when I came into the store. I promised that I would be back soon to say hello and now I don’t get the chance. God will take care of the POS that took a great man from so many. Damn Damn Damn I’m hurt by this ridiculous murder.

When will these stores get a clue? It should be required by law that these small stores put their employees behind bullet proof glass. The store can only be stocked when 2 or more employees are working. My favorite safety measure is what is used in some big cities up north. After dark you have to ring a buzzer to enter the store. Just the thought of knowing you were let in makes one think twice about robbing that store. These small convenience stores are doing nothing to protect their employees.
    This has got to stop.
