    There is a killer pot hole on the 164 west, just as you approach the 164/99A crossroads., heading east. I had to hit it a few times to get a dose of negative reinforcement, for to avoid it.

    Commissioners! If you keep the roads and their ancillaries in good working order, then 90% plus of your keeping your constituents happy requirements are satisfied.

    Liz, I know you and Ricky need a pave on your road but I for one can’t wait until the little bridge is started. They say Molino Rd. will be shut down for six months. So i’ll be able to pull out of the driveway, check mail, and take garbage out without fear of an 80 mph driver (which is frequent). People walk, kids ride bikes, ride horses, even drive horse buggies along the road yet fools act like it’s their racetrack. I may even put up a sign at Sunshine Hill with a smiley face saying, “Ha Ha, Go Around” !

    With double row reflectors on 99, although visually helpful, they have made the lanes narrower, not to mention unfinished shoulder work – and while were are at it – the completed bridge on 97 has an unacceptable bumps going both north and south – this needs to be fixed

    @cw
    What you may not know about their “cheap patch job on hwy 99 ” is the road was supposed to be resurfaced shortly after that work was completed. Ball dropped.

    I for one say it is much better than it was. I don’t remember any bus mirrors knocked off or busted tire issues from dropping off the edge(wrecks) since they did this work.

    But Yes 99 north needs resurfacing.

    John,
    If that were to happen it would be one extremely poor county, and there wouldn’t be much money to go around for anything. I’m sure the north end benefits from the property taxes paid by the south end, whether it seems like it or not.

    WELL I STILL SAY IT’S TIME WE HAVE A COUNTY FOR US ,NOT THE SOUTH END. LIKE NORTH ESCAMBIA COUNTY. THEN WE COULD GET SOMETIME DONE AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO LOOK TO THE SOUTH END FOR HELP.. YES NORTH ESCAMBIA COUNTY LOOK TO ME TO HACE OR OWN COUNTY !!!!!!!!!

    SOO,close to FOUR STAR FARM ROAD, but the County allways Overlooks us on this road . It has been raining alot lately, which means our ROAD is EXTREMLY MUDDY and makes the POTHOLES which are large and so close together it feels like its going to warp the Undercarage of our Vehicles.The little Bridge they are talikng about is in GOOD SHAPE,it has never flooded or caused anyone a problem. Please COUNTY get your head out of the CLOUDS and do your job for us Taxpayers.

    Oh my goodness…repave and widen Hwy 4 from Hwy 29 to Hwy 97!!! Horrible road!!!

    @Justsaying

    I agree with you, hwy99 to the state line is terrible. The way they did a cheap patch job to the edges to widen it years ago made it awful, you nearly need to ride in the center of the road to get a smooth ride.

    Lot of good projects. Highway 99 between 97 and the Alabama line is still not in any plans. Maybe after the bridge job. We can only hope.
