Public Meeting Scheduled For I-110 Master Plan

The Florida Department of Transportation will host a public kick-off meeting concerning the I-110 Master Plan from U.S. 98 (East Chase Street) to I-10 in Escambia County. The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand at 200 East Gregory Street.
The purpose of this meeting is to present project information, outline the master planning process and present the project schedule. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. There will be no formal presentation; however, FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.

Master planning…bla-ha-ha! It only took a dozen years to complete the last project, which has just finally got finished. Man, they are still working on that road in Santa Rosa Co. that’s been under construction (should say disrepair) for well over a decade. Ridiculous! Companies get these gov’t contracts and then milk the hell out of it. NOT how I would run it. Stay within budget and get ‘er done on time, period. Or else…
I’m confused. Didn’t they just pick up the cones and barrels from the last multi-million dollar project on this same section of road?
