Sunday Crash Claims Life Of Molino Woman
April 11, 2016
A Molino woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Molino Road near Angus Lane.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 40-year old Samantha S. Nowling was traveling westbound on Molino Road near Angus Lane as 77-year old Jewel B. Lowry of Foley was also traveling westbound. Lowry slowed her Lincoln Town Car to turn into a private driveway. Nowling crossed the double yellow line into the eastbound lane, causing the right side of her Toyota Tundra pickup truck to collide with the Town Car.
The pickup traveled onto the shoulder and overturned, fulling ejecting Nowling from the vehicle. Nowling was pronounced deceased on the scene. She was not wearing her seat belt, according to the FHP.
Lowry was not injured and refused medical treatment.
An Escambia Fire Rescue brush truck was involved in an injury accident on the way to the scene of this fatal wreck. Click here to read more.

The decision to buckle or not buckle should be a personal choice for adults, just as the choice to wear a helmet while operating a motorcycle.
I personally myself choose safety equipment.
A tragic loss, prayers for those touched by this tragedy.
REGARDING:
” you wouldn’t say things like that. If you were him and read your comment, how would you feel ?”
Angry at him for stating the truth, reminding you she need not have died.
Angry at him for warning others that they not die for want of following simple safety rules.
Sad at the loss, still.
Sorry for your loss and suffering, folks.
David for fewer regret

@John
Really dude ? Yea, we get it. She was rushing home for something important. If you’d have heard her husband on scene, the complete anguish in his cries, you wouldn’t say things like that. If you were him and read your comment, how would you feel ?
Paul, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Tammie (Rose) Harper, Meridian, MS
Debra and Casey,
I am praying for you. This makes me so sad.

Wear your seat belts, don’t follow too close, and dont try and pass when you have a solid yellow bar on your side of the lane”That Is Ilegal Passing” Praying for all that was involved…
Paul we are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts go out to you and your family.
If you learn anything from this tragic accident, please ALWAYS wear your seatbelt! Praying for the family!
I love you so much mom, I miss you so much already! I know you’re looking down on Paul and I though . I love you so much my beautiful beautiful beautiful angel.
I truly can’t believe this happened, so many thoughts and prayers to her daughter, husband, and mother. I’m so sorry. She was a great woman.
Samantha is my Half Sister.
R.I.P I love you. Always have & I Always will.
I still can’t believe you’re gone. I know none of us can.
Prayers and hearts go out to the Nowling and Cushing family over this sudden and tragic event, from the Rudd family. Let me know if there’s anything we can do for you guys.
I agree with CW. I don’t usually buckle up unless I’m on the interstate or a state hwy with a 65mph limit. I think I’ll go with the wear it all the time rule now. This was clearly a loved person. I’m praying for the familes and friends .
So many stories like this, yet people still can’t understand to wear their seatbelt. There’s something called ‘centrifugal force’, and if your vehicle starts rolling you will go out the nearest opening if you’re not strapped in.
Samantha was my cousin. I am extremely heart broken that I can’t be there with my family as I live in North Carolina. I love you Sammy you will forever be in my heart.
I’m so sorry May God comfort you and your family at this difficult time
You will be missed!
Childhood friend
